Read MoreThe National Motorcycle Museum opened in 1984 and has grown to be recognised at the finest and largest British motorcycle museum in the world. Initially opening with a collection of 350 motorcycles on display, it now boasts some 1000 plus machines, fully restored to the manufacturers original specifications.
The museum attracts around 250,000 visits a year, where one of the biggest attractions is the comprehensive cross-section of British machines, spanning the “60 Glorious Year” of motorcycle manufacturing.
The Museum is conveniently located in the heart of the Midlands Transport Network, with Birmingham International railway station just a five-minute taxi ride away.
If you want to take a trip through British Motorcycle history in Solihull then you won’t be disappointed. Pre-bookable guide tours are available that will really make the collection come alive.
Admission prices vary from £7.95 for children / disabled / student / senior to £9.95 for adult. There are reductions for group parties. Opening hours are from 08:30 to 17:30 daily, except for Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
